Fall 2020

EECS 484 provides a basic introduction to relational database management systems (DBMSs). By the end of the course, you will know how to use and implement a DBMS. Among other topics, we will cover SQL, relational algebra, query excecution, optimization, and ACID semantics.

• autograder.io — You will submit projects to the autograder.io website. There are five projects in this course, all of which involve submission to autograder. You are automatically enrolled.
• GradeScope — GradeScope will be used to administer occasional quizzes. You are automatically enrolled.
